Motor Vehicle Crash - Property Damage

At 1:30 AM, Deputies responded to the N7800 block of STH 69, in the Town of New Glarus, for a reported motor vehicle crash. The investigation found that the driver, Alivea L. Brown, 19, of Monroe, was traveling southbound when she lost control of the vehicle and then entered the west ditch.  Brown advised she was uninjured and wearing her seatbelt at the time of incident.  Brown’s vehicle sustained functional damage and remained on scene to be removed at a later time.  The investigation resulted in Brown being cited for Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Operating While Suspended.  Brown was later released pending court. 

Drug/Narcotic Violation

At 6:38 PM, Deputies conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for an equipment violation in the W3900 block of STH 11, in the Town of Sylvester.  The investigation resulted in the driver, Janet D. Sando, 58, of Beloit, being placed under arrest for Possession of Cocaine, Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Failure to Install an Ignition Interlock Device, and Operating After Revocation (due to an alcohol offense).  Sando was later incarcerated at the Green County Jail pending court.
