The following events occurred on August 31, 2025:

Criminal Arrest
At 1:06 AM, Deputies attempted to conduct a traffic stop on a vehicle in the W8000 block of STH 11, in the Town of Cadiz. The vehicle then fled Deputies, which resulted in a pursuit of the vehicle. The vehicle was later stopped and the investigation resulted in the driver, Jeromy J. Ballard, 45, of Monroe, being placed under arrest for Knowingly Flee/Elude Law Enforcement, Resisting Law Enforcement, and Operating While under the Influence. Ballard was additionally cited for Operating Left of Center, Unreasonable and Imprudent Speed, and Unsafe Lane Deviation. Ballard was later incarcerated at the Green County Jail pending court.
Motor Vehicle Crash – Personal Injury
At 12:22 PM, Deputies responded to the N1500 block of CTH S, in the Town of Jefferson, for a vehicle versus tractor crash with injuries. The investigation found that the driver of the vehicle involved, Zayne D. Mills, 21, of Davis, was traveling northbound and attempted to pass a tractor operated by Jasper W. Werren, 15, of Monroe, as Jasper began turning westbound onto Norton Rd. causing a collision. Zayne advised he was wearing his seatbelt and was uninjured. Zayne’s passenger, Makenzie R. Mills, 18, of Davis, advised she was wearing her seatbelt and was later transported to the hospital for suspected non-life-threatening injuries. Werren advised we was uninjured. Zayne’s vehicle sustained disabling damage, with no airbag deployment, and was towed from the scene. The tractor was repaired and later removed from the scene.
The investigation resulted in Zayne being cited for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Mackenzie being cited for Underage Possession of Alcohol. Both parties were released pending court.
