The following events occurred on July 23, 2025:
All person’s arrested or cited are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
Motor Vehicle Crash – Property Damage
At 5:45 AM, Deputies responded to the W700 block of Ten Eyck Rd., in the Town of Decatur, for a reported single vehicle crash. The investigation found that Adam R. Johnson, 36, of Brodhead, was traveling westbound when he struck a deer, entered the shoulder of the roadway, and lost control. Johnson reported he then entered the ditch, where he struck an embankment, and then the vehicle came to a rest. Johnson said he was uninjured and wearing his seatbelt. The vehicle sustained functional damage, with no airbag deployment, and was towed from the scene. Johnson was cited for Possession of Open Intoxicants pending a future court date.

At 6:36 AM, Deputies responded to the W9500 block of STH 81, in the Town of Adams, for a reported single vehicle crash. The investigation found that Dale L. Hughes, 39, of Hollandale, was traveling eastbound negotiating a curve, when he lost traction to wet road conditions. Hughes then entered the south ditch, where he struck an embankment, and then entered a culvert where the vehicle came to a rest. Hughes advised he was uninjured and wearing his seatbelt. Hughes’ vehicle sustained disabling damage, with no airbag deployment and was towed from the scene.
Warrant Arrest
At 12:00 PM, Deputies responded to the W5200 block of Hefty Rd., in the Town of Washington, where Bryce M. Klitzke, 30, of Monticello, was placed under arrest for an active arrest warrant through Probation and Parole. Klitzke was later incarcerated at the Green County Jail.
Disorderly Conduct
At 7:15 PM, Deputies responded to the area of E. Main St. & S. Water St., in the Village of Albany, for a disturbance. The investigation resulted in Lia R. Fry, 20, of Albany, Adeigh R. Schwartz, 20, of Albany, Jurnee L. Johnson, 19, of Janesville, and Zayda M. Johnson, 21, of Beloit, being cited for Disorderly Conduct. All parties were released pending court.
