Motor Vehicle Crash – Property Damage
At 2:48 AM, Deputies responded to the 100 block of W. Main St., in the Village of Albany, for a two-vehicle crash with no injuries. The investigation found that Brett M. Broebner, 20, of Brodhead, was traveling westbound when he swerved to miss a deer and then collided with an unoccupied parked vehicle. Broebner reported that he was wearing his seatbelt and was not injured. Both vehicles involved sustained disabling damage, with no airbag deployment, and were towed from the scene. Broebner was cited for Failure to Maintain Control and released pending court.
Motor Vehicle Crash – Property Damage
At 9:23 AM, Deputies responded to the N2300 block of Bethel Rd., in the Town of Clarno, for a single vehicle crash. The investigation found that Joebob N. White, 21, of Browntown, was traveling westbound when he looked down for his phone and veered off the roadway. White then attempted to correct the vehicle, but struck a mailbox and driveway before coming to a rest. White advised he was wearing his seatbelt and was uninjured. The vehicle sustained disabling damage, with no airbag deployment, and was moved from the roadway. White was cited for Failure to Maintain Control and Operate without a Driver’s License. White was later released pending court.
