The following events occurred on May 12, 2025:
All persons arrested or cited are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
"Pursuant to the directive of the Wisconsin Supreme Court, as found in Supreme Court Rule 20:3.6, Trial Publicity, you are advised that a charge is merely an accusation and that a defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.”
WARRANT ARREST:
At 1:02 AM, Deputies conducted a field contact at N2320 Mt. Hope Rd. (Clarence Bridge Park), in the Town of Spring Grove. During the contact, it was found that Korben E. Brown, 21, of Brodhead, had an active arrest warrant. Brown was later placed under arrest and incarcerated at the Green County Jail
pending court.
FARM ACCIDENT - PROPERTY DAMAGE:
At 7:57 PM, Deputies and Juda FD responded to the N3400 block of Balls Mill Rd,Town of Sylvester, for a report of a downed power pole. Investigation revealed that Implement of Husbandry was conducting farming operations in the field to the east of the roadway, when the tiller caught a guy wire, causing two power poles to fall. The operator, John J. Broger, 70, Juda, reported no injuries, and no seatbelt usage. The tiller sustained minor damage and the implements were driven from the scene. Alliant Energy was contacted and requested the roadway be closed for repairs. Alliant will notify GRSO when repairs are complete and the roadway can be opened.
