Operating While under the Influence

At 12:04 AM, Deputies responded to the W6800 block of STH 81, in the Town of Monroe, for a reported suspicious vehicle.  The investigation resulted in the driver of the vehicle, Britt E. Gadd, 58, of Freeport, being placed under arrest for Operating While under the Influence.   Gadd was later released pending court. 

Motor Vehicle Crash – Personal Injury

At 6:24 AM, Deputies, along with Argyle EMS and First Response, responded to the N5700 block of CTH J, in the Town of Adams, for a one vehicle crash with injuries.  The investigation found that the driver, Austin C. Bruckert, 18, of Prairie Du Sac, was traveling south on CTH J.  Bruckert advised he had traveled too far off the road and then entered the ditch, where he struck a culvert and then the vehicle came to a rest on its side.  Bruckert advised he was wearing his seatbelt and was later transported to the hospital for further medical attention.  The vehicle sustained disabling damage, with airbag deployment, and was towed from the scene.  Bruckert was cited for Failure to Maintain Control.
