The following incidents occurred on Friday, September 6th, 2024:
Motor Vehicle Accident-Property Damage:
At approximately 11:33 AM, Deputies responded to the N7200 block of County Highway E, Town of Albany, for a report of a two-vehicle accident.
Investigations found that a vehicle operated by Erin E Hartwig, 49, of Brodhead was northbound on County Highway E when a second vehicle operated by Thomas J Gomach, 44, of Stoughton entered the roadway going eastbound on Brooklyn Albany Rd. Hartwig’s vehicle then collided with Gomach’s vehicle. Hartwig and Gomach both denied injury, both reported wearing seatbelts, and no airbag deployment in either vehicle. Both vehicles sustained functional damage and were driven from the scene.
Gomach was cited for Failure to Yield the Right of Way from a Stop Sign and released with a non-mandatory court date.
