The following events occurred on August 9, 2024:

Motor Vehicle Crash-Injury:
At 9:37 a.m., Deputies along with Albany EMS, Albany Fire Department, and Green County Paramedic responded to the W1900 block of County Highway C, in the Town of Brooklyn, for a single vehicle crash. Investigation revealed that a vehicle operated by Anne R. Vandervort, 75 of Brooklyn, was traveling westbound when she failed to negotiate a curve. The vehicle entered the south ditch and collided with a tree. Vandervort reported not wearing a seatbelt and the vehicle airbags deployed. Vandervort sustained injuries and was transported by Med Flight to an area hospital for treatment. The vehicle sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene.
