Motor Vehicle Crash – Personal Injury
At 11:22 PM, Deputies, along with Browntown First Response and Green County EMS, responded to the intersection of CTH B & West River Rd., in the Town of Cadiz, for a single vehicle crash with injury. The investigation found that Melissa L. Griffin, 47, of Browntown, was traveling northbound on West River Rd. when she failed to see the intersection with CTH B. Griffin then traveled across CTH B and into a field to the north of the roadway. The vehicle then collided with a tree and came to a rest. Griffin advised she did not know if she was wearing her seatbelt and she was later transported to the hospital. The vehicle sustained disabling damage, with airbag deployment, and was towed from the scene.
