The following events occurred on April 24,2024:

Motor Vehicle Crash-Property Damage:
At 12:31 p.m., Deputies responded to the intersection of State Highway 11/81/69, in the Town of Monroe, for a two-vehicle crash. Investigation revealed that a vehicle operated by James M. Layon, 67 of Corydon KY, was traveling southbound and attempted to merge lanes when another southbound vehicle operated by Shawn T. Sigafus, 48 of New Glarus attempted to pass causing a collision. Both operators reported no injuries, were wearing their seatbelts, and no airbag deployment. Both vehicles sustained functional damage and were driven from the scene
