The following events occurred on January 1, 2024:

All person’s arrested or cited are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Operating While under the Influence:

At 3:56 AM, Deputies responded to STH 69 for a report of a vehicle traveling northbound crossing the centerline of the roadway.  Deputies later located and stopped the vehicle in the N7000 block of STH 69, in the Town of Washington.  The investigation resulted in the driver, Josue J. Herrera Hernandez, 30, of Madison, being placed under arrest for Operating While under the Influence.   Herrera Hernandez was additionally cited for Operating with a Prohibited Alcohol Concentration, Operating without a Valid Driver’s License, and Possession of Open Intoxicants.  Herrera Hernandez was incarcerated at the Green County Jail pending a release to himself or a responsible party and a court appearance.

Domestic Problem:

At 8:34 PM, Deputies responded to the W900 block of Yarwood Rd., in the Town of Brooklyn, for a reported disturbance.  The investigation resulted in Gina K. Allen, 52, of Brooklyn, being placed under arrest for Disorderly Conduct (domestic abuse related) and a Probation Hold.   Allen was incarcerated at the Green County Jail pending a court appearance.
