The following incidents occurred on Wednesday, May 18th, 2022:
Motor Vehicle Accident- Personal Injury:
At approximately 12:35 PM, Deputies, Albany EMS, and the Albany Fire Department responded to the N7600 block of County Highway X, Town of Brooklyn, for a car versus UTV accident.
Investigations determined a vehicle driven by Der Lee, 44, of Madison, had came to a stop partially on the roadway. A UTV operated by Cathlene C Burgweger, 74, of Brooklyn, struck Lee’s vehicle, from the rear, causing the UTV to roll onto its side.
As a result of the crash both Lee and Burgweger reported injuries. Lee was transported by Albany EMS for further medical evaluation. Seatbelt usage and airbag deployment is unknown. Both vehicles sustained disabling damages and were towed from the scene.
