The following incidents occurred on Saturday, May 7th, 2022:
Motor Vehicle Accident-Property Damage:
At approximately 8:29 AM, Deputies responded to the W400 block of State Highway 59, Town of Albany, for a truck vs tractor.
Investigation determined the tractor, operated by Joseph J Reilly, 36, of Albany, was eastbound on State Highway 59 and had signaled pulling into a field drive on the North side of the roadway. Another eastbound vehicle operated by Shayne A Hudson, 52, of Monroe, was behind the tractor and attempted to pass on the left, striking the manure spreader the tractor was towing.
Reilly reported no injuries and damages to the manure spreader. Hudson reported wearing his seatbelt and reported no injuries. Hudson’s vehicle sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene.
Hudson was cited for passing in a no passing zone and release with a court date.
Traffic Crime:
At 11:48 PM, Deputies stopped a vehicle for speeding in the W600 block of State Highway 11, Town of Spring Grove.
As a result of the stop, the driver, Brea R Byrd, 24, of Edgerton, was cited for operate without a valid license (2nd within three years) and failure to install an ignition interlock device.
Byrd was released pending court.
