The following events occurred on September 20, 2021:
All person’s arrested or cited are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
WARRANT ARREST
At 5:46 PM, Deputies stopped and cited Alvaro Perez, 29, of Fitchburg, for a speeding violation in the N5000 blk of STH 104. Alvaro also had an active warrant through Lafayette County for Failure to Pay Fine. The warrant was confirmed and Alvaro was taken into custody. Alvaro was transported to jail where he posted bond.
OWI
At 10:15 PM, Deputies stopped and cited Jacey Lyons, 21 of Monroe, for a speeding violation in the W4000 blk of STH 11. Investigation also revealed Jacey to be under the influence of Alcohol and she was subsequently cited for OWI 1st offense and open intoxicants in the vehicle. Her passenger, Mitchell D. Hale, 22 of Monroe, was also placed under arrest for Obstructing. Mitchell was transported and booked into the Green County Jail and Jayce was released to a responsible party. after completing all of the OWI paperwork with her. Jayce was also issued a citation for having open intoxicants in the vehicle.
DOMESTIC ABUSE
At 11:40 PM, Deputies, along with New Glarus PD, Monticello PD, and Belleville EMS responded to W3800 block of Nye Road, in Exeter Township
for a 911 open line with yelling and a child screaming. Investigation resulted in Robert P. Bennett, 33, being arrested for Disorderly Conduct and Battery as a Domestic Abuse. Bennett was incarcerated in the Green County Jail pending the posting of bond or an initial court appearance.
