2022 Sheriff's Department Press Releases Posted on February 19, 2022

All persons arrested or cited are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. 

The following incident occurred on Thursday, February 18, 2022: 

Disorderly Conduct, Domestic Abuse –  

At approximately 6:20 PM, Deputies responded to the area of N7900 Gould Hill Rd., Town of York, for a report of an intoxicated subject being destructive and combative inside of a home.  

Investigation resulted in Robert K. Zipsie, 26 of Blanchardville being placed under arrest for Disorderly Conduct, falling under the Wisconsin Domestic Abuse laws. Robert will also be held on a Probation Hold. Robert is currently being held in the Green County Jail. 

 Motor Vehicle Crash –  

At approximately 8:42 PM, deputies responded to the N4500 block of State Highway 69, Town of Monroe, for a report of a vehicle in the ditch.  

Investigation determined that the operator, Hunter J. Wren, 23 of Monroe, was traveling south when he lost control of the vehicle due to road conditions. The vehicle exited the roadway, traveled down an embankment and came to a rest in a field. Hunter and his passenger both reported wearing their seatbelts and not being injured. There was front airbag deployment and the vehicle was towed from the scene due to disabling damage.  

Disorderly Conduct –  

At approximately 10:56 PM, deputies responded to the W6800 block of County Highway B, Town of Clarno, for a report of a juvenile male threatening to harm his siblings.  

Investigation resulted in Katalina L.J. Smith, 19 of Monroe, being cited for Disorderly Conduct. All parties were separated for the night.  

Motor Vehicle Crash with Injury –  

At approximately 11:23 PM, Deputies, the Monroe Police Department and Green County EMS, responded to the area of W3800 State Highway 11, Town of Sylvester, for a report of a two vehicle crash with injury.  

Investigation determined that an eastbound operator, Deanna R. Anderson, 53 of Brodhead, was rear ended by another eastbound operator, Mohamudi H. Abdi, 27 of Salt Lake City, and forced both vehicles into the ditch. Both operators reported wearing their seatbelts and neither vehicle had airbag deployment.  

Deanna was transported by Green County EMS to be evaluated for minor injuries and her vehicle was towed from the scene. Mohamudi was not injured in the crash and was issued a citation for Following too Closely. Mahamudi drove his vehicle from the scene.
