The following incidents occurred on Saturday, January 1st, 2022:

Motor Vehicle Accident-Property Damage:

At approximately 12:05 PM, Deputies responded to the N9600 block of County Highway J, Town of York, for a report of a two vehicle accident.

Investigations found that a vehicle operated by Damaris N Hudiel Rivera, 31, of Blanchardville, was turning onto County Highway J, from a driveway, and became stuck on the ice covered roadway. Another vehicle driven by Douglas L Holland, 49, of Freeport, was southbound on County Highway J when it struck Hudiel Rivera’s vehicle.

Hudiel Rivera and her passengers reported wearing their seatbelts, no injuries, and no airbag deployment. Holland and his passengers reported wearing their seatbelts, no injuries, and no airbag deployment.

Both vehicles sustained functional damage as a result of the collision and were driven from the scene.

Motor Vehicle Accident-Property Damage:

At approximately 6:36 PM, Deputies responded to the N3900 block of Golf Course, Rd, Town of Decatur, for a report of a single vehicle accident.

The driver was identified as Becky M Greenslet, 37, of Brodhead, who reported driving westbound when she failed to negotiate a curve. Greenslet’s vehicle left the roadway and struck a transformer. Greenslet reported no injury, reported wearing her seatbelt, and no airbag deployment. 

Greenslet’s vehicle sustained functional damage and was driven from the scene.
