Motor Vehicle Crash – Personal Injury:
At approximately 3:36 PM, Deputies responded to the W4300 blk Gilbertson Rd., Town of Mt. Pleasant, for a reported single vehicle crash.
Investigation revealed that a vehicle, operated by Joseph K Murphy, 47, Monroe, was eastbound on Gilbertson Rd., when a westbound vehicle crossed the centerline, causing him to enter the south shoulder. Murphy’s vehicle then sideswiped a guard rail. The vehicle sustained moderate damage with no airbag deployment and was driven from the scene. Murphy reported wearing his seatbelt and minor injuries, denying medical attention.
