The following events occurred on January 4, 2023:

MOTOR VEHICLE CRASH-INJURY:
At 6:06 p.m., Deputies responded to the N2000 block of Clarno Road, in the Town of Clarno, for a vehicle versus power pole. Investigation revealed that a vehicle operated by Teylon J. Hampton, 16 of Monroe, was traveling southbound when he lost control of his vehicle due to icy road conditions. The vehicle then entered the west ditch and collided with a power pole. Hampton sustained non-life-threatening injuries. Hampton reported wearing his seatbelt and the airbags did not deploy. The vehicle sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene.
