The following incident occurred on Tuesday, August 10, 2021:
Motor Vehicle Crash:
At approximately 7:03 a.m., Deputies responded to the N5000 block of STH 104 in the Town of Albany for a report of a single vehicle crash. Upon Deputies arrival, it was found that the driver had fled the scene. Investigation revealed that the vehicle was traveling westbound on CTH B in Rock County approaching the intersection with STH 104. The vehicle failed to stop at the Stop Sign at the intersection and collided with a traffic sign. The vehicle then entered the west ditch of STH 104 in Green County and collided with an embankment. The vehicle then came to a rest in a field. The vehicle sustained severe damage and the airbags did deploy. The vehicle was towed from the scene. The crash remains under investigation.
