All persons arrested or cited are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

The following incidents occurred on Sunday, August 8, 2021:

Drug Arrest:

At approximately 3:34 a.m., Deputies conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for Speeding in the W5200 block of STH 11 in the Town of Monroe.  Investigation resulted in the driver, Shaina A. Kraft, 18, Warren, IL, being arrested for Possession of THC with Intent to Deliver (Felony) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.  Kraft was cited for Speeding and for Underage Possession of Alcohol.  Kraft was incarcerated in the Green County Jail pending an initial court appearance.

UTV Crash:

At approximately 10:28 a.m., Deputies were advised of a damaged Stop Sign and damage to a corn field near the intersection of CTH F and Pfeuti Rd in the Town of Mt Pleasant.   Deputies conducted an investigation into the damage and discovered that a UTV crash had occurred.  Investigation revealed that on 08/07/21 at approximately 11:30 p.m., Tyler J. Dahl, 23, Albany, WI, was operating a UTV on private land when he lost control of the UTV, which entered a corn field and caused damage to the crops.  The UTV then struck an embankment and went airborne.  The UTV entered the roadway for CTH F and then collided with a Stop Sign.   The UTV then entered a field and came to a rest.  Dahl and his passenger both reported that they were wearing seatbelts and helmets.   Both Dahl and his passenger reported that they were not injured.  The UTV was removed from the scene.    

Motor Vehicle Crash:

At approximately 5:15 p.m., Deputies responded to the N4300 block of Park Rd in the Town of Decatur for a report of a single vehicle crash.  Upon Deputies arrival, it was discovered that the driver of the vehicle had fled the scene.  Investigation revealed that the vehicle was traveling northbound when the vehicle exited the roadway and collided with a cement barrier.  The vehicle then entered a field and came to a rest.  The vehicle sustained severe damage and the airbags did not deploy.  The vehicle was towed from the scene.  The crash remains under investigation.
