The Green County Sheriff’s Office has released the identity of the person who died in the fatal traffic crash involving a car and semi-truck, that occurred 3:34 a.m. Monday , March 7th, 2022 in the W8500 block of STH 11 in Cadiz Township in rural Green County.
Mark D. Brummel, age 57, of South Wayne, WI, was pronounced deceased at the scene due to injuries sustained during the crash..
Investigations determined David M. Schutt, 70, of Darien was operating a 1999 Freightliner towing a 2001 Trailstar Semi Trailer westbound on STH 11. Due to icy road conditions the Semi Trailer crossed the centerline and collided with the eastbound 1997 Buick Riviera operated by Mr. Brummel.
