The following events occurred on February 9, 2026:

All person’s arrested or cited are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

WARRANT ARREST

At 2:32 PM, Deputies arrested Wyatt A. Keats, 25, of Mukwonago, in the 2800 blk of 6th Street, City of Monroe, on an active warrant.   Keats was taken into custody on the warrant and confined at the Green County Jail pending court

OWI

At 7:16 PM, Deputies responded to the area of STH 11 & Balls Mill Rd., in the Town of Sylvester, for a traffic complaint of a vehicle traveling in the wrong lane of travel and at high rates of speed. Deputies located the vehicle and made contact with the occupant, Rafael R. Vazquez, 71, of Juda.  Investigation resulted in Vazquez being placed under arrest for Operating While under the Influence (4th offense).  Vazquez was additionally charged with Battery to a Health Care Worker, Resisting/Obstructing Law Enforcement, and Disorderly Conduct.  Vazquez was incarcerated at the Green County Jail pending court.
