The following events occurred on  December 23, 2025:

All persons arrested or cited are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

"Pursuant to the directive of the Wisconsin Supreme Court, as found in Supreme Court Rule 20:3.6, Trial Publicity, you are advised that a charge is merely an accusation and that a defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.”

MVC - Property Damage:

At 6:56 AM, Deputies responded to a single vehicle crash with no injuries, in the W3700 block of CTH C, Town of Mt. Pleasant.   Shane C. Eddy, 48 of Monroe, was traveling east bound when he lost control due to icy roads, trying to negotiate a curve.  The vehicle entered the south ditch, struck the embankment and came to rest on the passenger side.  Eddy reported wearing his seatbelt and was uninjured.   The vehicle sustained disabling damage with no airbag deployment,  and was towed from the scene.

OWI:

At 12:49 PM, Deputies responded to a report of a single vehicle crash in the N8700 block of Badger Road, in the Town of York.  Gregory G. Jepsen, 65, Blanchardville, was traveling southbound, when he lost control of his vehicle.  The vehicle exited the roadway to the west and collided with an embankment causing the vehicle to overturn.  The vehicle came to rest on its roof.  Jepsen reported not wearing his seatbelt and was uninjured.  The vehicle sustained disabling damage with no airbag deployment, and was towed from the scene.  Jepsen was arrested for Operating While Under the Influence (1st-Alcohol). Jepsen was further cited for Operating With a Prohibited Alcohol Concentration (1st), Possession of Marijuana, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.  He was released to a responsible party pending a court appearance.
