Motor Vehicle Crash – Property Damage
At 3:54 PM, Deputies responded to the intersection of STH 81 & CTH J, in the Town of Monroe, for a one vehicle crash without injury. The investigation found that Melanie A. Weber, 75, of Blanchardville, was traveling northbound on STH 81 and failed to negotiate a curve, resulting in her colliding with a guard rail. Weber advised that she was wearing her seatbelt and was uninjured. Weber’s vehicle sustained disabling damage, without airbag deployment, and was towed from the scene.
