Accident PD
At 6:07 p.m., Deputies responded to the intersection of CTH C and CTH X, Town of Brooklyn, for a two vehicle accident. Investigation found that a vehicle operated by, John D. Wegenke, 80, of Middleton, was stopped at the stop sign at the intersection of CTH X and CTH C. The other vehicle, operated by, Christi L. Langer, 65, of Brooklyn, backed out of a parking spot, along the east side of the roadway, hitting the rear passenger corner of Wegenke’s vehicle. They both advised they were uninjured and wearing their seatbelts. Wegenke’s vehicle sustained minor damage and was driven from the scene. Langer’s vehicle did not sustain any new damage and was driven from the scene.
