On Friday, August 29, 2025 at approximately 8:00 AM, the Green County Sheriff's Office assisted by the Janesville Police Department, New Glarus Police Department, and the WI Department of Justice - Division of Criminal Investigation executed a residential search warrant in the N8900 block of Madison St, in the Town of Exeter.  The search warrant stemmed from an investigation into Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) conducted by the Sheriff’s Office Detective Division.

The investigation started with a cyber-tip through the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) being referred to the Sheriff's Office.  The investigation into the cyber-tip identified reported media depicting child sexual abuse material (CSAM), commonly referred to as child pornography.  As a result of the tip and a subsequent investigation, in excess of 70 additional images depicting Child Sexual Abuse Material were discovered during the search warrant. David C Blandino, 66, of rural Belleville, WI, was taken into custody and booked into the Green County Jail with charges requested of the District Attorney’s Office for the Possession of Child Pornography, Class D Felony. 

The Green County Sheriff’s Office is leading this investigation and was assisted by the Wisconsin Department of Criminal Investigations Digital Forensics Unit. At the time of this release Blandino remains in custody at the Green County Jail.
