The following incidents occurred on Thursday, August 28th, 2025:

MOTOR VEHICLE ACCIDENT- PERSONAL INJURY:
At approximately 6:08 PM, Deputies along with Monticello FD, Albany EMS, and Green County EMS, responded to the intersection of County Highway F and Rechsteiner Rd, Town of Mt Pleasant, for a report of a two vehicle accident with injuries.
Investigations found that a vehicle operated by Whitney K Clason, 21, of Monroe, was southbound on Rechsteiner Rd when she failed to yield the right of way to a vehicle operating eastbound on County Highway F, operated by Charles R Keyes, 66, of Burlington. As a result of the crash Clason and her juvenile passenger sustained injuries and were transported by EMS for further care. Clason advised she and her juvenile passenger were wearing seat belts and the airbags deployed within the vehicle. Clason’s vehicle sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene.
Keyes sustained injuries and was transported by EMS for further care. Keyes reported wearing his seatbelt and airbags deployed within his vehicle. Keyes’ vehicle sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene.
Clason was cited for failure to yield right of way and released with a court date.
