Operating While under the Influence

At 1:57 AM, Deputies conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for speeding in the N7000 block of STH 69, in the Town of Washington.  The investigation resulted in the driver, Adam J. Marty, 24, of New Glarus, being placed under arrest for Operating While under the Influence.  Marty was additionally cited for Operating with a Prohibited Alcohol Concentration and Speeding.  Marty was later released pending court. 

Motor Vehicle Crash – Property Damage

At 1:55 PM, Deputies responded to the N2900 block of STH 69, in the Town of Monroe, for a two-vehicle crash without injury.  The investigation found that Adrian J. Sweeney, 19, of South Wayne, turned southbound on STH 69 from STH 11 when he collided with another vehicle driven by Samantha L. Redick, 23, of Monroe.  Sweeney and Redick advised they were uninjured and wearing their seatbelts at the time of incident.  Both vehicles involved sustained functional damage, without airbag deployment, and were driven from the scene.  The investigation resulted in Sweeney being cited for Unsafe Lane Deviation and he was released pending court.
