Motor Vehicle Crash – Personal Injury
At 12:18 AM, Deputies responded to the W3500 block of CTH C, in the Town of Mt. Pleasant, for a reported single vehicle crash. The investigation found that Emma R. Riese, 21, of Belleville, was traveling eastbound when a deer entered the road and collided with her vehicle. Following the collision, the vehicle entered the north ditch and overturned. Riese sustained apparent non-life-threatening injuries and reported to be wearing her seatbelt. The vehicle sustained disabling damage, with airbag deployment, and was towed from the scene.
