The following events occurred on April 1, 2025:

All persons arrested or cited are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

MVC - Personal Injury:

At 7:12 AM, Green County Deputies, WI State Patrol, Brodhead FD, and Brodhead EMS all responded to a report of a motor vehicle crash in the N1900 block of CTH G, Town of Spring Grove. Ashley Hoyt, 32, Edgerton, was northbound on CTH G when the vehicle she was operating entered the gravel shoulder.  The vehicle reentered the roadway, crossing the center line, before entering the west ditch.  The vehicle struck an embankment before coming to rest in a field.  The vehicle sustained disabling damage with air bag deployment, and was towed from the scene.  Hoyt reported wearing a seatbelt, and sustained injuries.  She was transported by EMS to a hospital.  Hoyt was cited for no motor vehicle insurance and was released pending a court date.

Arrest:

At 10:46 AM, Benjamin P Affrunti, 48, New Glarus, was arrested for Disorderly Conduct while in the Lobby of the Green County Sheriff's Office, 2827 6th St, City of Monroe. Affrunti had been requested to leave the lobby after causing a disturbance. Upon being escorted out of the building, he continued causing a disturbance and was arrested. Affrunti remains jailed on the charge of Disorderly Conduct pending the posting of bond.  He was also placed on a Probation Hold.
