The following events occurred on March 19, 2025:

ACCIDENT- PI
At 7:49 AM, Deputies responded to a two vehicle crash in the N1300 block of CTH K, in the Town of Jefferson. A vehicle operated by Nathan M Parker, 41, of Monroe was southbound on CTH K. A second vehicle operated by Wyatt T Steiner, 17, of Juda was westbound on Town Center Road. Steiner failed to yield the right-of-way from a stop sign and entered the intersection, causing Parker to collide with his vehicle. Parker was not injured, was wearing a seatbelt, and there was airbag deployment. Steiner had minor injuries, he was wearing his seatbelt, and there was no airbag deployment. Both vehicles sustained disabling damage and were towed from the scene. Steiner was cited for failure to yield the right-of-way from a stop sign and released.
