MVC - Property Damage:
At 5:38 AM, Green County Sheriff’s Office Detective Payton Goninen was operating an unmarked Green County Sheriff’s squad, traveling eastbound in the W9400 blk of STH 39, Town of York, when a deer entered the roadway and collided with the front of the vehicle. The squad sustained functional front end damage, and there was no airbag deployment. Detective Goninen reported wearing a seatbelt and was uninjured. The deer was dispatched. The squad was driven from the scene. Monroe Police Department assisted.
