I am pleased to announce that Deputy Daniel DeNure has been selected for promotion to the rank of Lieutenant.  Deputy DeNure has 14 years of experience with the Sheriff’s Office.  Daniel started his career in our Jail Division and was promoted to Patrol Division.  Deputy DeNure has served in roles as a Firearms Instructor, Active Shooter Response Instructor, SWAT Team Leader and Rangemaster.  

Daniel served with the Wisconsin Army National Guard for 20 years and retired at the rank of Staff Sergeant.  During his time with the WI National Guard, Daniel led teams of soldiers during state of emergencies and combat operations.  Deputy DeNure has been instrumental in the development and success of the Sheriff’s Office training program.  Deputy DeNure has exhibited skills that have made the Sheriff’s Office better through his leadership and attention to detail.  

Lieutenant DeNure started his new role effective Monday, August 19.  Please join us in congratulating him on this well earned promotion.
