The following events occurred on July 9, 2024:
All person’s arrested or cited are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
Motor Vehicle Crash-Injury:
At 5:10 a.m., Deputies along with Green County EMS and Juda Fire Department responded to the W1800 block of State Highway 11, in the Town of Spring Grove, for the report of a two-vehicle crash with injuries. Investigation revealed that a vehicle operated by Rogelio Barrales Villalba, 23 of Freeport, was traveling eastbound when he crossed the center line and collided with a westbound vehicle operated by Flor M. Prebil, 51 of Beloit. Prebil and the five passengers reported wearing their seatbelts and sustained non-life-threatening injuries. Prebil and the five passengers were transported to an area hospital for treatment. Both vehicles had airbag deployment, sustained disabling damage and were towed from the scene. Investigation resulted in Barrales Villalba being cited for Operating After Revocation causing injury, Reckless Driving causing injury, and Failure to Maintain Control. Barrales was released pending court.
Probation Violation:
At 3:35 p.m., Deputies responded to the 2800 block of 6th Street, in the City of Monroe to assist Department of Corrections agents. Investigation resulted in James R. Lauren, 33 of New Glarus being arrested for a Probation Violation. Lauren was incarcerated at the Green County Jail pending court.
