The following events occurred on July 8, 2024:

Motor Vehicle Crash-Injury:
At 5:32 p.m., Deputies and the Monroe Police Department responded to a single vehicle crash in the 1500 block of 31st Avenue, in the Town of Monroe. Investigation revealed that a vehicle operated by Guadalupe Garcia-Ruiz, 35 of Monroe, was traveling southbound when she attempted to pull into a parking lot and collided with a guardrail. Garcia-Ruiz and passengers reported non-life-threatening injuries, were wearing their seatbelts, and the airbags did not deploy. The vehicle sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene.
