Operating While under the Influence

At 3:48 AM, Deputies conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for speeding in the N1700 block of STH 69, in the Town of Clarno.  The investigation resulted in the driver, Jakar D. Broitzman, 18, of Monroe, being placed under arrest for Operating While under the Influence.  Broitzman was additionally cited for speeding, possession of open intoxicants in a motor vehicle, underage possession of alcohol, and possession of THC.  Broitzman was later released pending a future court date. 

Drug/Narcotic Violation

At 6:59 PM, Deputies conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for speeding in the N3800 block of STH 69, in the Town of Monroe.  The investigation resulted in Markeeta Reed-Burgess, 39, of Fitchburg, being cited for Possession of THC.  Reed-Burgess was later released pending a future court date.
