The following events occurred on March 22, 2024:

MOTOR VEHICLE CRASH-INJURY:
At 12:02 p.m., Deputies responded to the N3600 block of Monroe-Sylvester Road, in the Town of Sylvester for a single vehicle crash. Investigation revealed that a vehicle operated by, Chad M. Howard, 37 of Monroe, was traveling northbound when he lost control due to the slush covered roadway. The vehicle then left the roadway and collided with a utility pole. Howard reported non-life-threatening-injuries, was not wearing his seatbelt, and the airbags did not deploy. The vehicle sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene. Investigation resulted in Howard being cited for Operating After Suspension of Registration. Howard was released pending court.
