Late Monday afternoon, the Green County Sheriff's Office was notified that one of the individuals transported to UW Hospital in Madison for treatment of injuries sustained in a crash involving two motorcycles on STH 69 south of the Village of New Glarus on Saturday, July 8th, 2023 had died from her injuries.
The victim, a 60 year old Fort Atkinson, WI woman, was the operator of a motorcycle that had collided with a second motorcycle that was turning into a brewery driveway. The Sheriff's Office expects to release the name of the crash victim later this week.
This incident was Green County's third fatal traffic crash of 2023.
