The following events occurred on June 17, 2023:

MOTOR VEHICLE CRASH-PROPERTY DAMAGE:
At 11:13 a.m., Deputies responded to the W2800 block of County Highway KS, in the Town of Jefferson for a motor vehicle crash. Investigation revealed that a vehicle operated by Lillyanna M. Schmid, 17 of Juda was backing out of a parking stall, traveling northbound across County Highway KS, when she collided with a legally parked vehicle. Schmid reported no injuries, was wearing her seatbelt, and the airbags did not deploy. The parked vehicle was unoccupied. Both vehicles sustained functional damage and were driven from the scene.
