The following events occurred on April 23, 2023:
All person’s arrested or cited are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
MOTOR VEHICLE CRASH-PROPERTY DAMAGE:
At 11:33 a.m., Deputies responded to the W9200 block of State Highway 39, in the Town of York for a single vehicle crash. Investigation revealed that a vehicle operated by Kyle G. Ray, 30 of Dodgeville, was traveling eastbound when his vehicle sustained a mechanical failure, causing Ray to lose control. The vehicle then struck a traffic sign and entered the ditch. Ray reported no injuries, was wearing his seatbelt, and the airbags did not deploy. The vehicle sustained disabling damage. Investigation resulted in Ray being cited for Operating After Revocation, and for Failure/Tampering Install of an Ignition Interlock Device. Ray was released pending court.
DOMESTIC ABUSE:
At 2:42 p.m., Deputies responded to a residence in the 500 block of West Coates Avenue, in the Village of Monticello for the report of a disturbance. Investigation resulted in Bradley A. Miller 33, of Monticello being arrested for Disorderly Conduct (domestic). Miller was incarcerated at the Green County Jail pending an initial court appearance.
DRUG/NARCOTIC VIOLATION:
At 8:04 p.m., Deputies conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for a speed violation in the W6200 block of State Highway 11, in the City of Monroe. Investigation resulted in the driver, Bernaja N. Erwin, 18 of Beloit being cited for Possession of THC, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Erwin was also cited for speeding, 109 mph in a 55-mph zone.
