COVID-19
In response to the Coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic, UW-Extension continues to take necessary steps to protect the health and safety of our visitors and staff while doing our part to assist in minimizing the spread.
Our hours of operation are from 8 am to 4:30 pm, if you have any questions, please email Jayne Butts or email Lana Heins or contact us by phone at 608-328-9440.
Duties
We teach, learn, lead and serve, connecting people with the University of Wisconsin and engaging with them in transforming lives and communities, using the Wisconsin Idea. The Wisconsin Idea is the principle that education should benefit people's lives beyond the boundaries of the classroom.
We provide a direct link for Green County residents to the vast educational resources of the University of Wisconsin system. UW Extension educators conduct educational programs and provide expert advice and information to the citizens of Green County.
Delivery of educational information to county residents is made through:
- Computer networks
- Electronic media
- Farm or home visits
- Individual consultations
- Newsletters
- Newspapers
- Radio programs
- Small group seminars
- Video Zoom conferences
Our educators look forward to serving the needs of Green County:
- Jackie McCarville, Agriculture Educator, Dairy Emphasis
- Ellen Andrews, 4-H Youth Development Educator
- Victoria Solomon, Community Resource Development Educator
- Bridget Mouchon, Health and Well-Being Educator
