Mental Health

The Mental Health program of Green County Human Services provide treatment for individuals struggling with life circumstance issues, to matters of severe mental illness. The programs are staffed by licensed social workers and psychiatrists, and are certified by the State of Wisconsin. In addition, the Mental Health Unit and AODA Unit comprise the mobile crisis response service which is also state certified.

Outpatient Services

Outpatient mental health services are designed to help people address coping skills in their daily lives. The mental health unit provides individual, family and group therapy. Counseling includes, but is not limited to addressing adjustment issues, marital and family issues, crisis intervention, and psychiatric assessment and treatment.

Prevention

The goal of prevention is to help families and individuals recognize and deal with emotional issues in their lives before those issues become overwhelming. Our programs promote emotional, intellectual, and psychosocial health and awareness.

Psychological Testing

A variety of testing is available to assist with diagnostic services.

Crisis Intervention
